No, stainless and titanium use a nickel based anti-seize but since he's going steel/stainless anything is better than nothing!

Why use the correct anti seize if he refuses to use the correct hardware?
If it’s on there, leave it alone.

that's a new one on me - but then, so was aluminium back when I 1st read about it ('cos that's how we learned about such things, back then)

Its not really about whats right or wrong, its whats available and will work. Reality is, they’ll prob get changed again when i lift and replace the shocks. Or be taken off and put back regularly enough that it wont matter much * its a jeep, “held together by hardware store nuts and bolts” kinda goes with ownership
