here's my rear bumps. I wanted them tied together for rigity. There is a threaded plate sandwiched above the rear shock crossmember that the crossbar bolts to.

Well, might as well put up a pic of my ride now that it runs (for the most part).

1990, 5 speed (converted to external slave), NP231 with AA SYE, D44 rear with ARB and stock shafts for now, 4.5 RE coils, 3.5 RE leaves with extended shackles, and more to come.

Yeah it is hidden behind the front fender. The cage is bolted through the roof behind the backseat. I'll get a pic of the inside cage work. I'm 6'3" so there isn't any work in the front area. I didn't want to be banging my head....

Re: Sierra Chapter Rigs

I have had a couple people ask about the way the cage connects. Hopefully these pics help a little more. The cross tube is welded to the body and then a 1/4" plate that runs the length of the back end where the outside cage connects to. My biggest concern when building this cage was to make sure if I did roll that my kids would be protected. So far so good. I do plan on adding more to it but a little at a time....

It'd flex better if you took off that LA sticker and put a SF sticker. Haha
