'92 XJ 4.0 not idling correct

so it stated this almost stalling & then reving up to 1500rpm....changed idle control valve,map sensor & throttle position sensor.....no change...
 
check for vacuum leaks on intake manifold, rubber and plastic lines. I had a small vacuum leak on the intake manifold, very small hole and it made my jeep idle at 950. Used electrical tape and now it idles fine
 
Don't forget the vacuum reservoir - if you have a stock front bumper, it's tucked inside that on the passenger side, is about 5 inches in diameter/about 8 inches long.
 
:rof:it was the PCM............thanks for everyone's ideas! I know a lot of stuff that is now new & & did some over due maintenance.

ps, jeep hasn't had that canister for years!
