warn rock sliders?

i was flipping thru my quadratec catalog and noticed that it looks like the way warn rock sliders are made they ONLY attach to the pinch seam that runs under the rocker panel. i have been trying to decide on what design to use when i build my own in the near near future, and was wondering if only attaching then to the pinch seam and not the uniframe rails was okay. it seems to me that doing this would just demolish the seam when u come down on a rock or anything else. so the main question is

are warn rock sliders acceptable? or are they peices of crap that are just made to look good?

hmm so nobody has ever even seen a set of the warns, or any that only tie in to the pinch seam?

The Warns attach to the pinch seam and to the "frame rail" and through the floorboard. JP mag has them "featured" in the June '04 issue. Someone else here has them, try searching for it.
