Transfer case drop question

I put up my tc drop today. One of the studs busted off in the frame, so the drop is held up with 3 studs. Is this workable? Worked on the damn stud for an hour before it let go. That brings the total for busted bolts on the lift to 5. Damn cheap bolts!

Re: Transfer case drop question

I had one of the studs break off, too. I ran it with three for a while, but it made me nervous, so I drilled it out and tapped it to the next larger SAE size. (This was before I discovered , so I had nowhere to go for advice). Turned out the lowering kit with my 2.5" lift caused more vibration, so I wound up taking it back out anyway

Re: Transfer case drop question

One bolt broke off on mine so I fished a bolt thru another hole in uni body from the top. Then just put a nut with lockwasher on bottom with impact and it didn't spin on top.
