Stiff steering

'00 XJ w/ BFG MTs 35s on cragar 8's. Had Specfab from our Northwest Chapter look at it and the steering geometry and components look solid. Still, very stiff to turn. Was given a recommendation to shim the power steering pump for more pressure but did a little searching and couldn't come up with a guide. Also heard about the Durango box swap, but it's expensive. Thought maybe could shim it while I get the cash cash together.

Anyone have any recommendations or have instructions of how to shim it?

Apparently there is a screw on the pump that determines the pressure. By removing shims, if I'm reading it right, it opens it up more.

Also, people recommend messing with the lashing on the power steering box on the top of it near the radiator.

I can't, however, find any info on it as I would like to try both!
