Length of rear driveshaft
I need to know what is the length of the rear driveshaft long piece, of the 97-01 XJ with 4.0, Auto, 4x4, with 8.25 rear.
Center of UJoint hole to center of UJoint hole. The long piece only please. Thanks.

Sorry, ditched my stock shaft years ago.

Measured from the center of each u-joint on the tube part of the driveshaft for 4.0L with AW4 and NP231.
29 spline 8.25 .... 27 7/8" 97 + D35 ........... 28 7/8" 1987 D44 .......... 29 5/8"
