To-Do List

oh oh i love these. lets start at the beginning.

finish power steering stuff - waiting on the 2nd box from tom, i'll install the cooler i bought when i swap the box
install bumpstops - fronts done
install shocks - done
register and insure it
get wheels and tires - got wheels
finish the cage/bumpers/etc
get new pass side knuckle+ball joints - got it, need to install
route front OX cable
tidy up rear brake lines
trim gas tank skid so the 60 pumpkin doesnt smash it
crossmember+skid
added:
shorten front DS
install ZJ prop valve
 
gear and lock new axles----Everything is ordered
swap out the lp30 and 35------35 is out. 8.25 is in. HP30 is sitting on stands ready to be trussed
get rid of the abs------Gone
install longarms-----Change of plans. Sold them
built crossmember and tc skid
setup rear suspension--------Done
figure out how im gonna do my rear shocks--------Done
mount winch
install tank skid
install the 231 w/ sye

i have almost all the parts just need the time
 
Fix all/remount shocks
Install gas tank skid
Get spare tire/rim

See what breaks next month wheeling...

- DONE Bend up harness bar and X brace for cage, finish weld and paint it (hopefully this weekend)
- Finish building 440
- DONE (surprisingly wasn't that bad haha) Get 440 to fit in engine bay :laugh:
- Build motor mounts
- Modify/ build crossmember, transmission mount, NP205 rear mount
- Redo traction bar crossmember mount (move to passenger side)
- Build new driveshafts
- Mount radiator, plumb cooling
- Build exhaust
- T-case shifters
- Center console and transmission tunnel
- Slave cylinder mounting/routing
- New dash and gauges
- Megasquirt and TBI
- Clean up wiring harness
 
Wait for my caliper brackets to come in so I can finally get my rear axle back together done

plan 1:
- build new frame
- build new axles
- freshen up spare motor (or 5.2?), trans, transfer case, install sye, install on new frame
- build 3 link and attach axles to frame in various ways
- put cab and new bed on new frame, install new floors
- install 97+ interior
- drive

plan 2:
- wait until a week before (alright fine, the day before)
- panic
- booger weld patches across the holes and cracks in my frame - DONE :shocked:
- throw every jeep part I own in the back
- throw every tool I own in the back
- do not remove trash from rocktoberfest, fallcrawl, or any other run from the back, under any circumstances - UNDONE :shocked:
- throw all the beer and hard alcohol I can find in the back
- throw hammock in the back
- buy food on the way out of town at 2am Saturday
- drive

I am sure what actually happens will fall somewhere between these two plans.

gonna route the ox cable and install the prop valve saturday, as well as tidy up some small stuff. no bending, we need to dig and pour some concrete for a new locale for the bender. gonna drop my DS off at a shop next friday to get it cut down and balanced.

After I read the first line, I thought "Absolutely not," and my mind flashed to things that would happen during building it. I then read the 2nd line, and you confirmed everything I thought would happen.
 
1. Put on tire shine HAVE TO GO TO PEP BOYS
2. add necessary stickers Didnt make it to pep boys yet
3. maybe do a custom pvc snorkel & add some chrome... Have to go to Depot & then to pep boys, but I will get it done
 
I keep fixing things that aren't on my list, and ignoring the things that are on my list. Regardless it's presently wheelable so I just have to keep it that way.

Oh, and tweaking Mark is too much fun :eyes:
