I managed to install the Tom Woods hack and tap SYE and drive shaft yesterday. It took a hair longer that I would have liked (about 5 hours) but overall I'm very happy with the results - no more vibes! For a mechanical moron like me to get this done without doing major damage to the machine or my knuckles is pretty cool in my book. This was my first big solo project, so forgive me if I seem overly excited by something you senior wrenchers may think is a piece of cake!
