What year rear hatches are the same?

I have an 88 that got rear ended and broke the fiberglass hatch in multiple places. What year models use the same hatch. I'm looking at a 94 on line and it seems to be the same. Anybody KNOW the break point on these?

i know a 97+ wont fit. and i know a 92 rear glass will fit into an 88. aside from wiring connections it should bolt on up to 95-96 as far as i can tell it should still be fiberglass also.

Yup, glass. Steel is 97+.

i dought the wiring will match, 94 has a thrid brakelight and a rear wiper. pretty sure your 88 does not.

My 88 has a rear wiper, no 3rd brakelight though.

My 88 has a wiper but no 3rd tail light....yet. I picked one up and hope to install it.

As stated 96-down will bolt in. Wiring etc may vary pending era hatch is from.
