Select-trac front axle

As far as I knew, all XJ's have D30 fronts - but this page says D35 for select-trac models.

do they know something I don't?

Re: Select-trac front axle

It appears you know something they don't.

They also missed the Chrysler 8.25" axle entirely. Not a great source for information.

Re: Select-trac front axle

full time 4wd has a d30 non disco
part time 4wd has a d30 with vacume disco

I do beleive that the above statment that the only front axle in down sized jeeps is the d30 id corect. and in the rear you could have a d35, d44 or crystler 8.25 and the 8.25 could have diferent spline count depending on year
