We have a non-off road Tahoe trip planned in mid-late August. There is a place in Bishop that rents Kawasaki Mules. I saw an article on Silver Canyon road/trail and was thinking taking a day on the way up to Tahoe, packing a cooler and taking a family trail exploring day.
Anybody have input on Silver Canyon road in August? Where can I get pics/videos? Will it be too hot? Is the trail interesting? Are the mules good for a day run on this trail?
The family would totaly dig a day of trail exploring, if it is good. But a long, hot, dusty day on a loud bumby ride might be a disaster.
Thanks for any input.
