First question, is the factory roof rack tire carrier any good? Is it good enough to hold a 32x11.5 BFG MT without fear of it falling off? I don't want a full roof rack but want to keep the tire out of the back when I need more room. Any suggestions?
Second, has anyone else ever had the hood release cable break? I pulled the handle (under the dash inside the car) and the damn thing pulled right off? My jeep is a 2000 so I wouldn't think something like this should break?? How tough is this to replace and how much is it gonna set me back? Right now I just use a pair of pliers to pull the bit of cable sticking out the end but it's a pain in the butt so I want to change it.
