Yesterday I became the very happy owner of a brand new 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock with 74000 miles and a Warn winch in the factory front bumper. It's not an XJ, but it's the closest thing to one at this point that had the space for my kids. I'm pretty excited to get back out wheeling again.

I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around "brand new 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock with 74000 miles", but I will try to sort that out in my ossified cranium.

Congrats on a new toy. Looks good.

It's brand new to me?

Nice looking Jeep. First thing I'd do is hide a kill switch in that bad boy.

Thanks, and recommendations? First time owning anything someone might actually want to steal. Lol

Nothing fancy here. On most of my vehicles I've always put a kill switch directly in line with the fuel pump. Keeps honest people honest and slows the professionals down by 5 seconds :D

Sweet, welcome home
It's good to be back in a Jeep.
Nice, man! Any upgrade/lift plans?
Not in the near future. Mostly just little stuff to improve storage or function on the interior. It already has lockers, good sliders, 32s, steel bumpers, and a winch. Once these tires wear out, maybe some 35s and a 3" lift. Presumably get some more lights.
Nice rig. I just built one for a friend. 4" lift with 38s. Lots of set ups for them. Congrats on the jeep.
Thanks!

I'll probably also be finally letting go of some of my XJ parts for reasonably cheap in the near future.

Welcome back, Justin!

Nice. Closest thing you can get to an XJ in a newer vehicle lol.
