200 XJ injector replacement

I am trying to replace injectors on daughter's 200 XJ

1) On the front two electrical conectors the retainer clip cracked ( radiatror heat fried the plastic)

2) replacement injectors look a littel shorter than "originals"

3) got them in but about 1/2 leak bad

do I need to take the whole rail out install them in the rail with clips and then bolt rail back to head??

anybody else have issues with this?? :wow:

Reaplcing the injector o-rings is always a good idea. Lube them lightly each time when installing. Electrical conector retainer clip cracking is common.
