questions about installing adjustable control arms and upgrading steering

I have a 1995 XJ I just finished installing a basic lift in. I have leafs spring with add-a-leaf and shackles. Im guessing its about 4in and in the front I have 3 in coils. I also have an adjustable track bar installed. Im will be adding a coil spacer to even it out.

Since lifting the jeep I have noticed my steering seems very loose and the car drifts to the right a bit.

I have a set of adjustable rubicon express upper and lower control arms to be installed.

to address the steering I will be going the Inverted T/Chevy 1 ton TRE route and probably ream the steering knuckles to go over axle.

should I make sure the control arms are installed and my proper caster, pinion alignment and toe in are all set before I upgrade the steering?

Thanks
