Full width swap

I'm looking into buying a set of axles and was wondering what you guy's opinion on them is. The seller say's they are a hp44 front and D60 rear out of a 79 F-250. They are also 8 lug. I've read a ton about the 44/9 swap from the early F-150's, but not about these axles. Is it worth the effort?

still well worth the effort imo but the 60 rear is prolly alot heavier and bigger than the 9"

Decent axles, but the real question is going to come down to tire size.

You are gaining nothing in u-joint size and minimal to nothing is strength with that 30-spline rear axle depending on what you have now.

but dooood i gots friends with big trucks that run them with no breakages
