Best choice for TRE at the Pitman Arm?
I was using NAPA Chassis parts instead of MOOG because I've heard MOOG wasn't what it used to be and had parts fail early. But now the NAPA Chassis 269-2788 has gone no longer available. I've had to warranty them twice(once on each Jeep) maybe why they stopped selling this particular part. The rest have been fine. So I'm looking for something good. Is the NAPA Proformer a MOOG part? ES3096? That's all they sell for this application now.

Re: Best choice for TRE at the Pitman Arm?
It turns out NAPA still does sell the part- its just not in the online catalog.
I went with a MOOG ES3096L and got a gift card for the warrant return. |

Re: Best choice for TRE at the Pitman Arm?
Like most manufacturers, MOOG sources parts from multiple countries and the quality can vary significantly for even the same part number. All of the manufacturer's are sourcing their lower end non-premium lines from China, and there is very little difference in quality between the brands or even the crude you get on eBay/Amazon.
