No, I didn't think about it. I didn't really notice the slack in the steering box till I was on the interstate.
Went to take a left curve and had to really TURN the wheel.
It's driveable but it could sure use a new box. There's 90 degrees of play towards the left of the steering.
When you turn the input shaft it'll turn a 1/4 turn before the intermediate shaft responds. Then the shaft moves up and down a 1/4 inch before it starts moving left and right.
It's a blast to drive! lol.
