driver's side front door will not lock
this XJ does not have power locks(or power anything for that matter)
it will not lock with the key and the lock from the inside... when attempting to lock from the inside the lever just flops back and forth with no resistance

You'll probably just have to replace the mechanism. Should be able to pick up one that works at a junkyard for cheap. My bro in law did this to his XJ and he's no experienced mechanic. Shouldn't be hard.
