MAP Sensor Voltage at WOT?

What is the max MAP sensor voltage at WOT?
Thanks.

Thanks, it's in the mail.

So what is the max MAP sensor voltage at WOT?

I beleive the max voltage the sensor is capable of putting out is 5V. However, the actual voltage the sensor will put out is dependant upon the atmoshperic pressure.

One easy way of checking what your WOT MAP voltage is, is to simply turn the ignition on (don't start the engine) and read the voltage the sensor is putting out with a multimeter.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks, 4.70v.

The baromatric pressure statement is correct. Ambient Barometric changes all of the MAP sensor outputs. IMO, engine on/not running, the MAP sensor output will not vary no matter how much you move the throttle as there will not be any pressure changes happening.

After all. it is an air pressure sensor. The TPS will change, the MAP will not. What will change the MAP voltage under these conditions is both the altitude and the weather.

Marty, you are going to like the FSM. A ton of information.
