Using sway bar bracket as BPE bad idea?

I'm going to be getting some bilstein 5125s for the rear and was thinking about using the stock sway bar bracket as a BPE. I have heard that it's bad though because it changes the way the shock mounts (eyes of shocks are 90 degrees different from eachother). Is this a problem with the bilstein 5125s?

It was with mine. Chewed up the bushings, so I ended up with some real BPEs.

BPEs aren't that expensive. Rather than risking myy new shocks, I'd just throw some BPEs on.
