Have an issue w/ my 99. Been running like poo for quite a while. Bad (well, worse than normal) mileage, no power, etc.
Past week, replaced the exhaust manifold (old one was cracked), O2 sensors (oem), plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, air filter, valve cover breathers/hoses, manifold gasket, TB gasket, fuel injector orings, etc. Ran nice and smooth immediately after the work. Only problem is a P0122 (TPS) code.
I connected to it with Torque and cleared the code. It threw the same code immediately on the next start. Cleared the ECM. Same thing. I pulled out a spare (believe it's good) TPS and swapped. Same code.
What would your next step be? I'm beginning to think wiring, which I hate troubleshooting.
