I'm moving and I can't take her with me.....
1987 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer
-4 door
-Automatic
-4.0L inline six
-4x4
-New suspension
-CD Player
-170,000 miles
Although it has a lot of miles it's in great shape and has many new parts including:
-new radiator
-new suspension (3" rough country lift)
-new AC
-new throttle cable
-new exhaust manifold
-new midpipe on the exhaust
-new front brakes
-new American Racing rims with 31" tires
-new heavy duty steering dampener
this jeep runs great and has always been dependable. almost all the normal stuff that goes wrong has been replaced. This Jeep is great in the snow with good tires and an absolute riot off-road. In addition, since it has a hitch you can also tow a ton of crap with the power 4.0L inline six.
There really isn't very much wrong with this truck, but I want people to know up front that it does have a few little issues (nothing out of the ordinary for a 15 year old truck with this many miles):
-Needs new tires. before winter, you'll need to replace these guys.
-Needs a new muffler. The old one is leaking. The whole rear section of the exhaust is about $70. It's not at all loud now, but it's leaking just a little bit.
-Door locks don't work so good.
-Rear hatch doesn't stay open. You can buy new hatch struts for $50, I just use a broom handle.
That's it. The first $1200 takes it. I could put this thing on ebay and get 2k for it easy, I just don't feel like messing with it. I'd rather sell it quick and locally. Email me for more info.
