can you help on lathe brands?
Our company wants to buy a new lathe machine from a manufacturer, and I find the following top 10 ranking list post here:

Being a master tool and die maker, my first question is.....what is it used for?
Low volume/high volume? Size of bed/length and swing over the bed? Turret tool holder? Clamping size? Manual or CNC? Materials you plan to machine? Single point threading? Expected final part tolerances? Budget?
