Headliner

So I am this far in removing the headliner. I’ve gotten everything in the roof holding it removed except the two pieces of molding inside the front doors.

I have snapped the plastic attached to every one of those brass looking clips that snap into the actual metal of the body and I would like to stop doing it. How the hell do you get those things out without breaking the plastic?

So you got the driver's side mostly off I take it from the pictures.
You can finagle it out of there.
I only remove a couple on the driver's side myself.
Busted one too.
JB Weld held up pretty good when I was done and popped it back in.
But I had to remove it again and it busted again.
This time I threw a piece of double sided tape on it.
Seemed to have worked.

I broke mine too — Home Depot has an epoxy made for automotive interior panel repair — it’s 2 tubes with the syringes

Sticks to the trim plastic and works good — I’ll have to go to my shop to see what it’s called exactly
