surprised this thread hasn't been started yet. come on slackers ! :dunno:

What do you need to do before NWFest ?

Lets see those To-Do lists...

Mine is pretty small yet involves a ton of man hours

1. finish exo
2. Tires
3. Bedline the inside
3.5 put it all back together
4. left over steering issues still need some attention
5. seats and harnesses... if i have any money left from #1 and #2

since the XJ is down for along time.... I'll be taking the ZJ

1: rebuild 231 Transfercase and install it with new front driveline
2: Replace brakes F&R..
3: Replace Hubs

Possibly new tires depending on funds, XJ is getting geared/locked tranny swap and Both manifolds are being replaced. 35s and a winch/bumper, 5.5" coils/drop brackets before it leaves the garage again.

Gas tank skids,
Truss Axles
replace bushings

and tweak and adjust stuff.

Is there a character limit on a post?

1. Get brakes working
2. Install long arms
3. Fix and install Sliders
4. Finish and install front bumper
5. Install Dana 30 Aussie locker
6. SYE

8. Fab rear bumper (not a need, but a "would like to")

I'm sure there will be more to add to the list before then.

I honestly have no idea.

After some thought here's what I could come up with...

- Build track bar brace
- Build steering box brace
- Build rear bumper
- Finish passenger half door
- Beef up the rear cargo tie-downs
- Install rear disc brakes
- Change transmission and transfer case fluid
- Tune antenna (anyone bringing a meter?)

Some are "should do", "need to do", and "want to do". We'll see what get's done.

You say this like maybe you have already finished a driver door? please elaborate...

You say this like maybe you are planning on some 2wheel action? please elaborate...

 hmmmm.....

1. Strip the ABS.
2. Reweld my drivers door hinge.
3. prep/mount the D44.
4. Install lift.
5. Build (preferably) or buy my control arms.
6. Slap together some light but effective rock rails.
7. Get some backup axle shafts
8. if I make it to 8 will be installing the stroker but it's not really a priority for this trip.

Well I've been down in Southern Ca for a couple years but i am mocing back to Oregon in may. I hope to get my jeep trail worthy and actually wheel it insted of just working on it.

1. put a steering cooler in
2. install rear locker
3. get limit straps F&R
4. install t-case speed sensor
5. build a front bumper
6. Finish Installing seats and harnesses
7. A cage if I have time

So I see these posts, and they're pretty in depth.

I doubt I would really accomplish anything before NWFest, but if I showed up with my Jeep that's mostly stock outside of accessories and lift/tires, would it still be fun??

I assume it's not all hardcore stuff, and theres still tons of socializing.

Show up and there will be plenty to do, Naches has trails for every vehicle type.

I should probably paint my jeep and tune my antenna, but who knows if I will.

More realistic upgrades are new shocks and a race radio.
