My New (to me) Jeep build thread

So I just picked up this little treasure, got it from the neighbors garage sale 100% stock in great shape for $1.50.

My brother had a shop full of spare parts so I got to work. Sorry for the crummy pictures, camera was acting up

Here it is in its glorious unmolested form

Crappy stock flex =

Got together some lift components and some bigger meats

Lift installed with rollers

new meat

Surious traction

Wheeled it this way for a few minutes and kept breakin crap so I picked up a deuce n a half CHEAP ($Free.99 :smokin: )

BEEF!!!!

Jeep on jackstands, kinda looks like Mykes junk :f2:

New axles and bigger lift read to roll under it

New axles and mega lift on

Old junk, will be in the for sale section soon

Put back together

Humpin the deuce

Re: My New (to me) Jeep build thread

Oops... maybe its a little TO tall

I had a hard time finding rimz/tires to fit those axles, so once again I had to go bigger, found a sweet deal on some k'nex axles with a sweet wheel/tire combo

Stretched it a few MM while I was at it

Testin out my new clearance

Nice departure angle

Still lousy flex

Tried to add some cage protection but couldn't find the right parts

Kinda copied Avanteone's idea and put a cooler on the back

Got some protection up front

I realized I needed some more power to turn these tires, so I threw a big block motor in with a blower and NOS

Lookin purty good

Happy Owner

Was dancing on the roof, thinking about jumping off, but then I remembered what happened to Horus

Time for some tasty treats! WOOOOO

Re: My New (to me) Jeep build thread

I have a legit chopped lego Jeep I made when I was a kid, it also has actual springs in the axles...so I can flex it. hahaha
