I need to change that to a maybe. I will know better in the morning when I can see what's bent or broke.

Nevermind, got it covered.

It sounds as though I am missing out on all sorts of fun.

2N49 seems to have it in for power steering components this past week.

The rumors are true, I broke down! In my 17 years of wheeling this marks the second time I've had a Jeep-stopping breakage on trail (I've had a few others, of course, but they were easily worked around).

My power steering pump blew apart up on top of the ridgeline of 2N49 up at the power lines. I stopped there and tried to get parts delivery, when that didn't happen soon enough to continue on to do work I mostly coasted down to Palm Avenue where I met Tim in his Eclipse to fetch and install a new pump.

The cell tower. As I was sitting there I heard several large pieces of ice fall off that and hit the ground with a huge bang.

Not a bad place to sit for a couple hours, eat lunch, and read a book.

All in all I still had a good time, a bad day on the trail is better than a good day at work (typed from a hotel in NYC).

Looking to possibly head back up there this Thursday if anybody is free.

Once again thanks for the help, Tim!
