In need of head(er)

Having just purchased a 90 XJ and admittedly, I haven't been under it, I checked some sites today looking for a header. I found listings starting at 1991. Have I got a Jeep with the intake and exhaust together or can someone please explain? Thanks

You should use the search button. The Borla header works. I have one on my 90. Same number as the 91.

BTW: the intake and exhaust are two parts with a common gasket. When you take it apart, get the intake manifold cleaned out and replace the O rings for your injectors.

Check the head for rust under the gasket. It hasn't been talked about much on this forum, but there is a problem with leaks around the intake and the gasket. You can check it by spraying brake cleaner around the joint with the engine running. If it faulters or dies, you have a leak.
