Quick Injector Question

I've been doing some searching because after replacing the entire exhaust system w/ high-flow stainless components, the K&N, and throttle body spacer I have the motor in my 91 running a bit on the lean side (replaced the plugs in January and they are already white). I have been reading a lot about the Ford 24lb injectors and I was wondering if a) they sound like a descent option for my motor situation and b) what year injectors are plug and play? If you are running lean, it is a sensor problem, not an injector problem. Injector problems will occur on a particular cylinder, not all of them. 24# are a bit much for a stock motor.
