I have a Pre-96 NP231, its got the solid tail shaft....
I am unsure if it is a 23 spline or not, but it shifts and turns smoothly... It's in my parents garage, let me know if interested and I'll take some pics next time I'm home...

I'll need a 23 spline and will probably need to swap some stuff to make it work but this darn 249 quadratrac t-case in my 2 98' 5.9Ls ZJs are crap!

Well, I got it for free, so make an offer... When do you need it by? It a 3hr 30min drive between where its at and you, we could possibly meet half way.... Let me know...
