XJ Build, ZJ Donor

Hello, Modified Tech Discussion.

I have a 1989 Cherokee with a bad engine and rear end. I have a 98 ZJ Limited for parts. I wish to build the XJ from the ZJ utilizing as much as possible on a minimal budget. Here's a few things I have in mind to utilize:

D44a and all it entails, on leaf springs, front axle to match gears and eliminate disconnect.
Steering box and linkage.
Engine, manifolds, exhaust system. (4.0)
AC compressor and lines.
Heated leather seats with dash control.
Rear seats.

I'm open to suggestions on other items I could use that will bolt on or require minor modification. This project is all about having fun and building something that works for next to nothing. Creativity is appreciated.

The D44a is no better or more durable than a D35, a better upgrade would be a 29 spline XJ Chry 8.25.

That's not any fun though, doesn't require modification, and I already have three of them in other rigs.
