Re: Important

Neighbor across the street passed away a few moths back. Old car guy had a bunch of engines on stands and always working on stuff in the drive way. His kids have been cleaning up the garage, i got a 60 gal air compressor and a small table top drill press for 140 bucks at the garage sale.

Important

We went to Moab for a few days to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Town was way overcrowded, trails were not. We didn't see anyone all day in our top secret rock collecting canyon

Sold my house in 52 hours of listing...

14 showings...

3 offers...

Took the cash offer that was just below listing price... ($900 under)
...and no inspection or appraisal...

Congrats Mac, we'll be awaiting for the deets on Club R(part 3?). The more I look at houses here vs indiana, and the rest of the country, the more I think I wanna try my luck and move out of state. I couldn't buy my 1 bedroom condo I was renting for that price.

John, looks like you chose a good time to head up to Moab. Hopefully I'll make it back next year, with no rain if all goes well. How many rocks did you "aquire" this trip?

If we had the weather and landscape, maybe it'd be worth it. All we got is cold and cornfields.

Home values here are similar to Chicago area, property taxes are about 1/3
