As title implies, I'm looking to see if I can remove the BD50-8 (24mm) from my '88 case and swap in a 6010N (16mm). Unsure if there are any physical differences between the early and late cases that wouldn't allow.
Swapping in an AX15 and bought the wrong input shaft which requires the 16mm bearing. I've already installed the pilot bearing so I can't return. Hoping not to be out $110
