Important

I looked at my driveshaft at Winterfest since my rear was broken. Turns out the front looks more like a jump rope with all the slop in the splines. Being a 5 speed my front shaft is shorter, so the only logical solution here is to chop my inner fenders and stretch my axle out 2" to fit an auto driveshaft

Or a doubler, and stretch the rear.

That was the first plan, then that got expensive in my head. 4 speed D300 with 2.72 gears would be ideal but that's $4k+. 231/300 doubler seems like a real pain. I did see a guy on IG just toss an ecobox in front a 231, but Idk if it'll handle the torque, plus no twin stick. Also, probably need to redesign my trans crossmember to clear driveshaft droop. Rear is getting stretched regardless, just not sure if it's worth moving back my leafs or waiting longer to link it

Just finished the lift on the 98. Right about three inches. ACOS with upcountry coils, rebuilt RE control arms, knockoff JKS discoes, often overloaded 3.5" leafs from 99.
It already had Rancho 9000s so I made extensions for the fronts and moved the axle mounts up in the rear. Also did the rear main seal and oil filter adapter orings,
so no more oil leaks, for now

Heading to norcross GA for work in a few weeks. Going to Sidel, if anyone knows anything about heat set blow machines. They are a pretty big name in that field. A week of training for some new equipment were getting later this year. Possibly a trip to France as well I'm trying to get picked for. But with this one to GA we will see.

I'm a first time user, so pardon me if I'm on the wrong page, I happened to find this one that was current.

2 Questions:
How do convert a tire size of 32" x 11.50 x 15" to a number as follows (i.e. mine is 225/70/15 is stock)..?

Next, what would the tire PSI be for my '89 XJ with 32" x 11.5" x 15"..?
I only ask because I am getting a little bit of funny wear on the treads kind of like ramps, or jumps, with the tread being slightly lower on the back and higher in ther front.

Any ideas? Recommendations? Formulas?

Question 1) goggle will have a calculator. 2) probably around 25 but someone else will have to chime in. 3)

PS, I need instructions and/or help posting a picture of my XJ

If you are using the website, you will have to host your picture somewhere and link the image, if you are using an app, such as Tapatalk you can post pics directly through their app.
If you already have a pic posted on Faceballs or some other social media, you can link that one here using the <IMG> tag.

Tapatalk works ok, but picture size choices aren't great, at least for me. Way too small, medium but distorted, or humongous

ok, I guess it doesn't distort cows, but anything with straight lines, like an XJ
