Stage 8s not doing their job

Drivers front was making bearing noises, pulled the hub apart to find this:

I had a problem with the original locking nuts not staying in place, now the stage 8s aren't. Bad spindle? Should I dremel the groove down more? Burn the jeep down?

Re: Stage 8s not doing their job

It sounds like a bad spindle. Probably had some OEM stuff come loose in the past and damage the lip of the groove.

You need a new spindle brother. Looks like the Stage 8s did their job. Kept your wheel on.

Yup, you can see where it slipped out of the groove, then all the threads are gone from me prying the hub off. Stage 8 piece doesn't even look like it got damaged.
