NEED: Photos of 'lock-open' mech. for swing-away tire carrier

Lookin' for photos of any version of a mechanism used to lock the hinge of a swing-away tire-carrier in the open position.

Mount a plate on the bottom of the hinge that goes halfway around the circumference with a hole in it. Near the hinge, the carrier arm will have a pin in a slot with a spring that holds it in the down position. The pin tip will ride on the hinge plate and the hole in the plate will line up with the pin at the angle you want your carrier arm to stay open. To close the carrier, you pull the pin up and just push it closed.

Make sense? I think there is a company or two out there that has this on their bumper/carrier.
