You can make a nice loop out of these 2 trails. Here's a map showing them:

The .gpx file includes a track and waypoints that correspond to the ones in Charles Wells' Guide to Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails Volume 1, Second Edition
that are labeled as follows:
  • Devils##- Schofield Pass/Devil's Punchbowl
  • LeadKing##- Lead King Basin

Starting from Marble you will encounter quite a bit of traffic going to cabins along the creek, as well as to the famous Crystal River powerhouse.

Soon after, you will pass a sign to catch the interest of any 4-wheeler:

It refers to the extremely narrow shelf road that passes by the Devil's Punchbowl. Supposedly this was the scene of Colorado's worst off road accident.

There is a long stretch of road through this area where passing oncoming vehicles is impossible. Keep an eye out for places to pull out in case someone is coming the other way. Find the two ATVs to get an idea of how narrow this is!

Lead King Basin is an easier return trip. There are tons of wildflowers on this road!
