Whats new?!

I bet its somewhere in the trackbar

I drove mine around the block... still haven’t cleaned it out from KOH and Hollister..
itching to go wheeling soon but now the snow pack wants to come last minute lol

I just took mine on a random drive today around San Ramon to Alamo and back, in about 390 more miles I'll finally hit 100k on the odometer!

I rotated tires, and put in new brakes. Talk about over complicating things. Sent my socket (star pattern) across the garage floor so I had to make the next size up work.
Also decent weed the steering wheel a little bit and the Jeep still seems to pull right. I knew I shouldn’t have had Les Schwab align this.

Mike, what year is your CJ? I remember it being a super clean rig.

Found one of my offset tres was shot and my high pressure power steering line had blow off one of the fittings. Got the lines replaced and going to swap the tres this week.

Mine is still up on stands waiting for me to complete my front axle swap. I have the gears set up and most of the truss done, I just need to get the swaybar tabs/mounts set up so it'll clear the steering, weld them on, then weld on my steering stabilizer mount and start putting everything back together. I still need to re-gear the rear too. Got the gears, just gotta do the work.

Comin out the woodwork now that i finally got some time off work..

Gettin these fenders right and the steering dialed for whenever we get right. Forums aint dead yet boys

Took the Jeep to deer valley over Labor Day 2019 and caught the wheeling bug again. Broke a few teeth off the front D30 ring gear

So I debated my options and decided to keep polishing the turd.

Got a break form work during this corona virus scare and chopped my rockers and put 2x6 in.

Also spent time replacing battery cables with a 2gauge kit from JeepCables.com

My front tires are getting very bald. I scored some used nitto trail grapplers for my truck in 35x12.5x17 flavor but might put them on the Jeep instead. Looking into real bead-locks as well.

Mike (87matchief) had a neighbor selling a ‘74 K20 pickup back in November 2019 that I ended up taking home. Been tinkering around with that on the side as well. 454/th400/np205 and 8 lug axles. Used to be a shop truck and had a handful of tasteful upgrades (from the 90s). I’d like to haul the Jeep with this but we shall see.

BTW Nate, next time you hit Deer, count me in. Pretty close to trail ready with my rig. Is that a cavfab kit you have?
