Hello Jeepers I have a code to replace my crackshaft position sensor and can't find a dealer to replace it. Has anyone bought one from rockauto.com are they good for a replacement sensor:eyes:atriot:

As long as it's a good proprietary brand, it doesn't matter where it comes from - &, in fairness to RA, they usually offer a choice.

What year is your XJ? NAPA is supposed to have good ones as well.

Tape the screw into the socket when installing. You really don't want to drop it in the hole.

I keep reading that, yet don't remember it being a problem. Mind you, I did have practise removing the one from the parts car on which access was probably easier.
