I have a chance to buy an NV3550 and NP241OR out of a TJ Rubicon and am seriously considering swapping them into my 1996 XJ that currently has an AX15. I’m reading that the TJ/XJ transmissions are clocked differently, but I’m not seeing how much. I’m also finding conflicting information on shifter linkage and VSS compatibility. I actually have 4:10’s and 31’s currently, maybe the VSS will be a match? Does anyone have any knowledge they can share on the other potential issues?
