flood lights

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting some flood lights for the jeep and mounting them to the rear of the roof rack and splice into the reverse lights. Ive been looking at the 2x6" kc lights. Anyone ever use these? each individual light retail is $35 so its a fairly cheap project. What kind of lighting power do these things have? Any other lights you would suggest? Thanks.

Reverse Lights

This is how I did mine. I just used the $20 dollar pair of auxilary driving lights from autozone. They work pretty well. Except I mounted mine on either side of the license plate (turned out "stylish" but stock looking).

ya my setup will be similar to that except on the roof rack. I just want a set flood lights that will really light up the road in the dark, a set that if stuck on a trail at night, switch them on to illuminate the trail. Thanks for your input.
