Graphics question

I have a 96 Country. It has the silver, ribbed cladding along the lower cheat line which is also silver. The cladding is coming loose in a couple spots. The silver lower accent paint is not actually paint but a silver decal that is chipping from sun damage. How can I remove the cladding first, then the silver decal material? I don't want to damage the cladding as I would like to reinstall it at some point. Any suggestions?
