Will 15x8's fit 235/75r15's?

Hi there i am going to be getting a set of 15x8 american outlaw 2's from my buddy for free. Now i have 235/75r15's on my jeep now and i dont have enough money to get new tires or a set of wheels so i really want these rims from him. My question is will those tires fit on those wheels, the tires are firestone destination m/t's. Im thinking they should but i dont wanna find out that they dont the hard way any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at [email protected]

Yes, they will fit. I've seen it done before, but it really stretches them out.

The specs from Firestone only recommend up to a 7" wheel though.
