im Ian, i live in north texas. not much for sand or dunes, but we make it work.

as for the jeep it started as this
all stock 91 2dr.

then this

then all the outcome turned into this

its mainly was a trail rig, but with some new tires, bumpstops, fine tuning, and other little things. it will make a very strong DD/do it all rig.

but mainly dd/prerunner

Re: INTRODUCE YOU AND YOUR JEEP

I don't have any pics of mine in its current state...under the knife again

96 XJ
It's got a small block ford 289, fuel injected
Art Carr C4 trans, reverse manual valve body
Atlas 2 t-case
Full cage from bumper to bumper
Custom sheet metal dash
Race radio
Itercom w/ XM
Lowrance 540C GPS
PRP seats
4 Vision X HIDs
Radflo hyd bumps all around
RE long arms, custom crossmember
National Springs (really long from a ford ranger)
Limit straps all around
Bilstein 7100s 12" front, 14" rear
Hanneman fenders and bedsides
Champion Beadlocks
36" Iroks

Why it's under the knife...

Getting a trophy truck style 4 link
trussed up 9" rear axle, 4.88s and a spool
King 16" coil over shocks.

Once I get that all done and dialed, I'm planning to put in a D44 +4" Twin Traction Beam front suspension in it with coil overs as well.

Re: INTRODUCE YOU AND YOUR JEEP

Mine is just starting to move more towards a dual purpose. I have a lot of barren, empty desert out here in 29 Palms, and also lots of rocks and Johnson Valley.
Name: Justin
1996 4dr 4.0 AW4
Currently with stock D30 and welded 8.25 with 3.55s.
4.5" RE coils in a RE 3.5" lift with full packs and monotube shocks
1.5" RRO spacers and shackles
3 33x12.50R15 Pro Comp MTs
1 almost bald 33x12.50R15 AT
DPG belly skid

Coming: Yukon 4.88s for the D30; D44 with 4.88's, Detroit, and alloy shafts; RuffStuff diff covers; RK 3-link; JCR pre-runner winch bumper, stage 3 rear, stage 2 sliders; Hella 500s; Smittybilt XRC10 with synthetic rope
Eventually: Good shocks, don't know what kind yet, possibly air bumps, or more likely Prothane, stroker
