Need help with a cut and fold on my 00 XJ. Took the fender flares off and discovered a big rust hole in the right side quarter. Willing to pay, and need somewhat local to the Pa/De/SJ borders. Also will need to be done on a Sunday due to working 6 days a week. Thanks.

I recently did this on my '00 and also had a big rust hole on one side.

I just wire wheeled all the rust, painted it, and then proceeded with the process as if the hole wasn't there.

Once it was all folded up, I just used aluminum pop rivets to hold it in place. Worked great.

I guarantee you can do it!

I never did the cut n cold on my Jeep. I never had the patience for it... I used a sledgehammer instead. Works just the same

Haha... mine were done by rocks, hard landings and general reckless wheeling, followed up by a sledge hammer to "Clean up those body lines a bit"...

Its not hard, just need a sawzall with some decent metal cutting blades.
