Things I learned at WF

It's not called summerfest (damn is was cold)

Yankees know how do wheel LOL

D@mn it was cold

Hotel Attica has good prime rib but not very sanitized Rooms

If you just get into your room and a guy named Scott opens the door with good cold beers its going to be a long weekend

Scott (what more can I say)

D@mn it was cold

If your name is MAC _ _ _ _ _ _ gyver you catch a bunch of shit

After a long drive and a long night of Drinking, A street sweeper at 4:00am is the last thing you want to hear

No matter how much you drink if you go to the campsite at night the cold air will sober you up really quick.

and last but not least D@mn it was cold

p.s. Thanks again to all that showed up it was a blast. I can speak from experience and I believe that the MWC is got to be some of the best group of people I have meet in the off road world. Thanks again and look foward to next year. D@mn it was cold

Seeing a smiling Rev on a cold Friday morning kicks off the weekend perfectly.

The Hotel Attica is losing favor with me due to hygiene concerns. (sleep between the sheets?!!??)

Mac 'I lost the bead on my new Swamper 4 minutes and 200 feet into the first trail' Gyver

Wild Turkey is no substitute for Jameson...but works in a pinch in Attica...

Rough Country Suspension needs to step up their hiring process...I think the current group was hired under 'operation bootstrap'.

JohnLL doesn't half-azz anything, whether wheeling, brewing, carpenter-ing(?), and just being a helluva guy.

The Parke County apple don't fall far from the petrified, 108 year old tree.

Brian Hale is good chit, but his passenger choice is suspect.

Tyler can wheel with me anytime, anywhere.

Mac 'I don't need an engine, as long as I have a motor' Gyver (think about it)

Bob Loose can leave Attica with his heep in better condition than when it arrived, and I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen it. Hell, the Jeep probably could have towed the bus home after the brake incident. Also, just great seeing/wheeling with B Loose.

I don't always need to be lead idiot at the campfire...but in order to do that I have to skip the campfire...:dunce:

Painting my bumpers body color was world-class stupidity, right up there with thinking I could actually keep a set of flares after doing Orange trail.

Mac 'This time we aren't fixing my rig' Gyver

That kid with JCR in the YJ on IROKs is to finesse what Florida is to natural ice hockey players (again...think about it...)

BOB is looking outside the family to improve the bloodline, and I hope it works, because Dick is a helluva kid.

The yellow XJ from All Pro was drag racing from stopsign to stopsign all weekend. Its a throttle cable, gimpy, not a ripcord.

Those boys from Cinci are welcome on my trail anytime as well...good chit there...

Did we really trade golf cart and washing machine for stove and water heater?

Thanks to all for a great weekend.

I need to web-wheel more... been out of the loop for too long.

3 wheel drive requires more skinny pedal.

An ugly rig attracts as much attention as a pretty one.

The MWC attracts some really good folks.

I forgot how well an XJ on 31s with lockers could wheel...

The $100 JC Whitney 3in Rough Country lift is still the best bang for the buck out lift kit out there...

The $100 JC Whitney 3in Rough Country lift costs $120 now...

Having a CB that you can listen on but not talk is very hard to handle, especially when a certain someone is behind you...

Inner safety beads and Tsls are good at 15psi...

Partially missing inner safety beads on Tsls are bad at 15psi...

Reseating a bead on a Tsls with missing inner safety beads takes at least 120psi and no valve core...

The psi on everyone's on board air is less than 120 psi...

I need on-board air...

BFG ATs make a respectable spare...

Bloose can still hang a tire soooo far in the air and keep from flipping his rig...

Pat has more fun on 34 inch tires than should be possible...

GeneMJ should buy a certain ZJ...

BrianHO still has too much sheet metal left on his XJ...

The big slEasy is still crazy retro cool...

Those Rough Country stickers are everywhere...

Sleeping on the big red bus makes cold nights warm and comfy (thanks Bloose)...

A true midwest campfire needs at least 6 fire rings...

There are more kinds of wood than I was ever aware of...

Certain kinds of wood are easier to break over your head than others...

I'm going to start making home brew...

A 10x10 first-up canopy with sides on it will not hold up to attica campground winds...

I should've brought more Jack and Goldschlager...

I now officially have two XJ's to wheel (tho one is almost always out of commission)...

The new 08 Ford's are nice trucks...

After nearly 10 years of wheelin, 6 different tow rigs, I should've bought a diesel 8 years ago...

A megacab with a diesel towing a trailer with brand new axles and tires = the best towing experience of my life...

Thanks for the fun and memories...

mac 'winterfest IS only winterfest in Attica' gyvr

cost of fuel to get to winterfest 68.00
entry to winterfest 47.00
hand warmers - trying to keep my wife warm 10.00
my wife asking me to buid her a XJ for her -- PRICELESS!!

we had fun thanks:wave1:

John's homebrew never disappoints

The time zone change really threw me off

You can fit 3 37" boogers in a XJ if you work them just right

Being mexican I still hate Patron and peer pressure is a bitch

Brian never needs to buy another hat again

The MWC really knows how to kill bottles around the campfire

Even missing out on the wheelin' you can still have a blast at WF
