Okay... my new house doesn't have a garage.
Every morning now I go out 15 minutes before I leave, and I start my XJ to warm it up. However, I've encountered a problem. I come out 15 minutes later and the interior is still freezing cold and the heater is blowing cold air. The temp gauge shows the jeep at 210. If I then give it some gas the temp gauge drops rapidly to 150 or so and the heater starts blowing warmer air. So.... is my water pump just incapable of circulating coolant at low RPM?
Could it be that I'm just low on coolant? I have a bit of a leak.
