i believe they are slightly different at the point where they mount to the roof rail, but the same dimensions id imagine. atleast my 96 bars vs my 97 bars are different in that respect. btw i have one (maybe two i dont remember) from a 01 if you are ever in the area of newark, nj

the ones i just gave him are the same as my 97 but he says they don't look the same as his 99.

yeah they are def different but they should work, im pretty sure they mount the same way i mocked them up there and it looked like they would slide in.
